flat cloth diapers make great Droolcloths, Handkerchiefs, Bibs, High chair straps, Stroller ties for toys, Grocery cart straps, Lovies, Soaker cloths for leaking breastmilk while nursing, Lightweight blankets, Bandana for bundling stuff to carry, Sun shade, moreThanks to Angela for this Frugal Baby Tip!

I think I've used the 27"x27"
gauze "diapers" for everything *but* diapering. I've used them for:

• Droolcloths
• Handkerchiefs
• Bibs
• High chair straps
• Stroller ties for toys
• Grocery cart straps
• Lovies
• Soaker cloths for leaking breastmilk while nursing
• Lightweight 'blankets'
'Bandana' for bundling stuff to carry
• Sun shade

And....once, even as a 'bra' when Alexandra, my larger twin, threw up all over my clothes.

But never once for a diaper. Go figure. They do get wonderfully soft and absorbent for lightweight applications. I recently bought myself another 2 dozen, for use once I get my twins home.
