Thanks to Di for this Frugal Baby Tip!

Question: this is TMI, but anything I can use to cure my own yeast infection other than the usual gross creams?

Answer: I don't know about babies or whether you could be passing it back and forth, but I do know that I have used yogurt to cure a yeast infection.

Haven't had one in eons now, but just used a big plastic syringe type thingee to squirt some plain ol' yogurt from the fridge in there. Sorry I can't remember how much (half-ish of the plastic syringe - -LOL) and very soon, without spending much money, the yeast infection was gone.

My doctor at the time recommended it, and I've since seen that yogurt is used in lots of places that don't know about or can't afford other stuff. Something about the acidopholus setting right the yeast-to-good-flora balance, but like I said, it's been a while.
