Thanks to Laurie for this Frugal Baby Tip!

I have an antique oversized dresser with a mirror that I use as a changing table. I put one of those curved changing pads on top - and voila! A changing table with a mirror.

I decorate with different things depending. At Christmas, we put little white tree bulbs around it. We bought it 10 years ago, after I got the idea from an illustration in the Natural Baby Catalogue on creating a changing area. I haven't seen a catalogue in awhile, so I don't know if they still show it.

In between babies (we've had 4), we just use it as a regular dresser. The drawers are nice and deep and hold a lot. Very sturdy and fits a toddler for a changing as well. I know we didn't pay all that much for it - at least not compared to trying to buy a big dresser at a furniture store, new.

You can also buy a crib mirror, and screw it into the wall behind the changing table. My friend did that, and it works great. Sounds like the crib works well too. :-)
