Thanks to Joy for this Frugal Baby Tip!
I cannot afford anything in the way of fancy wraps and what-have-you. I used cloth on my first baby when I found out about it about a year into her life (I use disposable diapers before) then, when I found out that I was having another baby, I started looking at thrift stores and baby consignment shops. I have a HUGE stake of wraps for a big baby and a HUGE stack of wraps for a little baby.
I then went and got a bunch of prefolds at Wal-Mart or Target and use them. I also found some AIO Bumkins at a consignment shop -- about 2 dozen -- was thrilled to pay 1$ each -- yippee! I have noticed that since moving to a smaller town that the thrift stores and consignment shops are just not as good. This is a real pain.
