Having been the cheapie I am, I've gotten by with two dozen Gerber prefolds, and six pull-on nylon covers.

For a total of about $50 - that's it!

Now, my best friend uses disposable diapers and as her baby has gotten older, the disposables she buys, get more and more expensive.

She probably spends $100 every single month right now on disposable diapers.

(I know she spends about $40 whenever we go to Costco, and we go there all the time).

My utility costs increase has been negligible. Really!

I haven't felt the difference personally.

My husband's stereo equipment probably saps more energy than my front-loading energy efficient washer and dryer.

SHEESH!

Thanks to Robin for this Frugal Baby Tip!
