Thanks to Sheri for this Frugal Baby Tip!
My mom says that in the winter (Wyoming, very cold and very snowy) she would hang the diapers out once a week or so and let them freeze. She said they still got dry (had to put in dryer for a minute to plump up and get rid of frost) but she said it bleached them better than any laundry additive.
I don't know why, but she did a lot of diapers, and she should know. She said she dressed up and took us out to play, and just tossed them up. Then she ran out quick and grabbed them. Let me know if anyone tries this after it snows!!!
