Thanks to Michele for this Frugal Baby Tip!
After I discovered that Ivory no longer manufactures laundry soap (I know I'm s-l-o-w) I bought their bar soap last week and grated four bars up with my mother-in-law's electric grater (lovely gadget) and I used 1/2 cup to wash my last load of diapers and they turned out great!
A 3.5 oz bar does 4 loads (about 1/2 cup since it is a very soft milled soap.) The diapers feel softer than they have felt in ages.
