Thanks to Heather for this Frugal Baby Tip!

In the summer, when it's raining out, I hang all of my laundry in the basement on lines. We had a dehumidifier that did a great job sucking the moisture out of the basement air, and the diapers, but it died not too long ago. Time to get a new one. During the winter I just hang them up in the basement, and since the lines are high to the ceiling, the rising hot air helps dry them. We have an oil furnace, so no hot air vents to hang in front of.

Right now it's a gray, wet day and I have a pile of diapers waiting to wash, but will be waiting until Thursday to wash (and then wash like crazy) so I can hang them outside on the line to dry. Without the dehumidifier in the basement to dry out the place, I have rivers and ponds down there. YUCK! Here's to dryer days!!
