Thanks to Anne White for this Frugal Baby Tip!

My favourite frugal baby tip: I've been frustrated by the fact that many toddler spoons don't seem to be the right size for my 24-month-old, who feeds herself but is still a little messy: the bowl is too small, or the handle is too short; and the handle of a regular teaspoon is a little too long. I've found a sugar spoon is a great substitute. It has a big round bowl and the handle is just the right length. As an added little bonus, it looks like the rest of our cutlery (not a " baby spoon" ).
